    Pro Bowl 2010 Thread

Welcome to the Pro Bowl 2010 Thread!
Have any interesting stuff about this year's Pro Bowl? post it here!

The 2009 season is coming to an end (even though it's already 2010) and the Vikings were ONE fricken game from playing in the grand final. One or two correct referee calls and the Vikings would be the NFC Champions. I'm gonna stop there because this is too depressing.

Instead we have the Pro Bowl to look forward too. It isn't much of a solace, but it's better than nothing. Remember, the Vikings have more players in the Pro Bowl than any other team (a total of 10 Vikings players were selected to this season's Pro Bowl) Unfortunately, a few players are not participating so I'm not shure if we have the most player ACTUALLY playing in the Pro Bowl.

Injuries Prompt 5 Vikings To Pull Out Of Pro Bowl
Still planning on participating from the Vikings are guard Steve Hutchinson, running back Adrian Peterson, defensive end Jared Allen, special teams player Heath Farwell and tackle Bryant McKinnie.
Most of you probably don't remember, but the Vikings have dominated in the last couple of Pro Bowls. Two Pro Bowls ago, Adrian Peterson won the "Most Valuable Player"-award. The Vikes had a lot of players in the next Pro Bowl, and several Vikings players made a big impact in the game. I remember that Winfield made a pick in his first Pro Bowl game, Adrian Peterson had a solid game, and the D-line made some big game-changing plays. The funny thing is that it almost looked like our own D-line with 3 of 4 players being Vikings players.

The Pro Bowl is more than just the game, there are also a lot of entertaing interviews, like this one:

    Re:Pro Bowl 2010 Thread

I'm guessing that not many people are watching the Pro Bowl game right now, but I think it's worth watching. It's not about winning, it's about watching the best of the best come together on the field. However, I wish that they could put a little more effort into it. Mario Williams would have had at least 4 sacks and probably win the MVP by now if he didn't stop right before he had the chance to hit the QB.
Aaron Rodgers is looking pretty good out there.

    MVP - Matt Schaub

So glad that tool Rodgers did not get it.

I tuned in just long enough to see Tony Romo's brilliant blocking skills.

Okay, I can see where you want to soften your hits because it's just the Pro Bowl and no one wants to end someone's career over that. I'm totally fine with that. I'm even fine with the fact that it was the worst timed block ever and he totally missed the defender. Again, Pro Bowl.

But was the fetal position on the ground after missing the block really necessary?

    Really?

Good to see that Mars is still as ignorant as ever.

This was awfully boring. I tuned out after Rodgers went out. It was pretty sad to see everyone play the way they did. Especially the ones who said that they where going to play on full speed before the game.

Allen, for instance. I was really hoping that he would tear Schaub/Young up, but he pretty much stopped playing after first contact with the OT.

Same for just about everyone, btw.

Demeco Ryans had a nice hit. I was hoping that that would get some guys fired up. At least Mario Williams actually went for some sacks from there on out. That was pretty good to see.

They needed Sean Taylor out there.

Yeah - because nothing says "I'm a badass" like blowing up a punter.

You mean a ball carrier? If a punter runs the ball, you have to treat him gently?

Moorman is more athletic than 75% of the QBs in this league. He can take a hit. He didn't mind it, himself. It's the risk you run when you go with a fake punt. No one would mind if a QB got hit hard after running the ball.

Ignorant? I thought insults were not allowed here.

Get your trash out of here. This is not a Packer forum. I can hate Rodgers if I damn well please. Go back to your board if you want to see people jizzing all over him.

Yeah. This is the board to see Mars covering Favre with jizz.
