Welcome to the Pro Bowl 2010 Thread!
Have any interesting stuff about this year's Pro Bowl? post it here!
The 2009 season is coming to an end (even though it's already 2010) and the Vikings were ONE fricken game from playing in the grand final. One or two correct referee calls and the Vikings would be the NFC Champions. I'm gonna stop there because this is too depressing.
Instead we have the Pro Bowl to look forward too. It isn't much of a solace, but it's better than nothing. Remember, the Vikings have more players in the Pro Bowl than any other team (a total of 10 Vikings players were selected to this season's Pro Bowl) Unfortunately, a few players are not participating so I'm not shure if we have the most player ACTUALLY playing in the Pro Bowl.
Injuries Prompt 5 Vikings To Pull Out Of Pro Bowl
Most of you probably don't remember, but the Vikings have dominated in the last couple of Pro Bowls. Two Pro Bowls ago, Adrian Peterson won the "Most Valuable Player"-award. The Vikes had a lot of players in the next Pro Bowl, and several Vikings players made a big impact in the game. I remember that Winfield made a pick in his first Pro Bowl game, Adrian Peterson had a solid game, and the D-line made some big game-changing plays. The funny thing is that it almost looked like our own D-line with 3 of 4 players being Vikings players.Quote:
Still planning on participating from the Vikings are guard Steve Hutchinson, running back Adrian Peterson, defensive end Jared Allen, special teams player Heath Farwell and tackle Bryant McKinnie.
The Pro Bowl is more than just the game, there are also a lot of entertaing interviews, like this one:
