The PP.O Super Bowl Vikes v. Ravens

Well after nearly two weeks of voting the people of PP.O have spoken. And Super Bowl XL is the NFC North Champion Minnesota Vikings vs. the AFC Wildcard Baltimore Ravens ... yeah ... the tallied votes picked the Steelers to win the division, but the Ravens to go to the SB. So who wins the battle of PurplePride?

While I was one of the very few to pick against the Vikings winning the NFC (I had the Colts vs. Falcons in XL) I definitely think we take out the overrated Ravens. I think that their offense is weak (which is why I don't have them in the playoffs right now) and that their 'upgrades' at WR at are a little ridiculous. I mean Taylor is definitely as good as Clayton and Mason is an injury waiting to happen.
Anyway, if this does happen (and I hope it does) I like the Vikes to be World Champs by a score of 34-17

And how the hell didn't the Chiefs make it to the bowl. They are just as improved as we are :sad:

They are all over the NFL Discussion. I put up a poll on each division for eight days straight then a poll of the division winners and the close seconds (i.e wildcards). Some of the divisions got a lot of votes and some others not so many, Ill probably try it again closer to the season because I think it was good and interactive.

By the way I was one of the few that picked the Chiefs to win their division. Ill advertise the next round of polling a little better ... I think I got a lot of the young Madden crowd and they all seem to be obsessed with the Ravens ... and the Chargers won the AFC West and that does not make any sense ... not with the upgrades the Chiefs have made. Feel free to check out the old posts to get an update on who voted for what ...

The Ravens offense blows and I see their D being about the same as last year. Pittsburgh will bury them.

Well once again I hope we're correct with our voting lol. I can see a Vikings vs. Patriots a lot easier than Vikings vs. Ravens bowl though. Every year the Patriots aren't spoken about but when playoff time comes, everyone takes notice.
