Police Investigate Accident Involving Marshawn Lynch's Car

Bills RB Lynch involved in hit and run?

Multiple sources tell 2 On Your Side that the Buffalo Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident involving a car registered to Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch.

Sources close to the situation say it's still unclear if Lynch was driving the car or whether he was even in the vehicle at the time of Saturday's 3:30 a.m. accident.

Lynch's vehicle allegedly involved in hit-and-run accident

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Police investigators want to talk to Marshawn Lynch after examining the Buffalo Bills running back's vehicle, which allegedly struck and injured a pedestrian during a hit-and-run accident last weekend.

Buffalo Police Department spokesman Michael DeGeorge said Monday that investigators have attempted to contact Lynch and his lawyer. DeGeorge wouldn't go into specifics, but stressed that no charges have been filed and added police are still attempting to determine who was inside the 2008 Porsche SUV when the accident occurred, early Saturday morning.

While his antics were a bit funny, I loved it when they'd have him mic'd up during games...
That guy is/was a hoot..
But, he is also a tool.

My prediction for his NFL career:
No one will remember him in 2 years.
Lynch?
Who?!
Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(

Lynch might have trouble getting to Toronto

profootbaltalk

If Bills running back Marshawn Lynch ultimately is convicted of (or pleads guilty to) leaving the scene of an accident, he might not be able to join his teammates for any of the games that the team plays in Canada.

In theory.

Canada has a pet peeve about letting folks into the country who have been in trouble with the law elsewhere.
That dynamic has become more pronounced lately.

Lynch might face charges in hit-run

By Dan Herbeck and Gene Warner NEWS STAFF REPORTERS

District Attorney Frank J. Clark says charges remain possible against Buffalo Bills football star Marshawn Lynch in a hit-and-run accident last Saturday.

“I would not be at all surprised if he is charged early next week with a misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of an injury accident,” Clark said.

And according to legal experts, the accident could cause other problems for the Bills running back

The silence has somewhat broken from Marshawn Lynch's camp.

Erie County DA Frank Clark tells 2 On Your Side's Matt Pearl that Michael Caffery, Lynch's attorney, came to the courthouse to speak with the lead prosecutor and two investigators regarding the hit-and-run involving Lynch's SUV last weekend.
