Re: Is Peyton Manning more me first than say......Jeff George?

There are alot of more egomanical QBs out there than Peyton...that don't produce anywhere near what Peyton does! All I know is that the guy does everything he can to win...and maybe he does try to do it all himself...but isn't that what all great QBs try to do...will their team to win?

I don't know did they win?

    Will they ever?

He doesn't work within structure and that's great when things go well, but it obviously takes control of him when there are bumps in the road.

I won't doubt Mannings skills, I will say this however. The Colts have a well rounded team, more then enough talent to utilize to win a game. Manning forgets that and that does more harm then good.

It's still a team game, as good as Manning is, he cannot do it all himself

I'm sure he contributed to the problem more then helped. Calling all his audibles and forcing plays against a team that has many different bases hurt them a lot.

He tried to do to much. He should have let Dungy coach and simplify the package. In order to consistantly adjust for the stunts and blitzes.

Oh and he should thank the ref for keeping him in the game, and kick himself in the jiggly butt for being an ego maniac and mean to his kicker last year LMAO.

Dungy come home baby, leave that inbred to do his thing come back and GM the Vikes
He was mean to the kicker THREE years ago and only after the kicker called him out first.
Manning is a class act ... have met him twice ... and both times he talked to me and hung out with me (even remembered me the second time as the "guy who gave him hell" for letting Osborne run all over him his senior season) without ever seeming high and mighty ... he is VERY competitive though and said things he probably should not have in the heat of the moment.
His brother has a completely different reputation from people I know who have met him ...

He will eventually figure that out...if he ever wants to win a title, that is.
