Exactly. The pressure was horrendous. He didn't say that it was his line's fault, he just said they had protection problems. That comment falls on the shoulders of his O coordinator, the line coach, the head coach, the line and even Manning himself. They had protection problems, there is no doubt of that. I just don't understand why everyone enjoys blasting Peyton all the time.

he was as nice as he could be with that statement. To say he had any protection is a joke. Looked almost as bad as our offensive line.

Yeah, they had proctection problems, no secret about that.

Just like it's no secret that Manning is not just a player but like a coach out there. It seems as if he lets that go to his head as if he should BE the head coach.

I watched the game and their protection was not great, but this is the same O-line that helped them to a 13-0 record! And Pitts D played great, they were blitzing on every play. Manning did not play well in the first half and it was not just the protection, he should have put some of the blame on himself before he through his lineman under the bus.

Is he the next Danny M and well not ever win the big one?

I am sorry and this is probably petty but with the way his dad acted when Eli was drafted and Eli's attitude, I would not mind if no Manning ever wins the Superbowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I'm sure he contributed to the problem more then helped. Calling all his audibles and forcing plays against a team that has many different bases hurt them a lot.

He tried to do to much. He should have let Dungy coach and simplify the package. In order to consistantly adjust for the stunts and blitzes.

Oh and he should thank the ref for keeping him in the game, and kick himself in the ass for being an ego maniac and mean to his kicker last year LMAO.

Dungy come home baby, leave that inbred to do his thing come back and GM the Vikes

I agree... I dont like it when he over rules Dungee... They were 4th and whatever, and Dungee sent the punting team on, and Manning sent them back off. Luckely, they converted the 1st down, but that was when the game could have still gone either way. Nobody second guessed him, because he made it, but had he not Vanderjack probably would not have been the goat. I just dont think its right...
