    Peter Pricko's Power Rankings

    Wow!
He's got us at No.24...below the Bears, DEN, Cards, Saints ect...WTF?
Does he think Grossman is better than TJack?
Who the hell is going to catch the ball there now that Moose and Berrian are gone?
DEN couldn't stop anybody from running last year, the Saints can't stop anything, and the Cards got a QB controversy on their hands.
I know, TJack will have some more growing pains, but isn't he writing off our improving, top ten Defense and the mighty AP!!!?

    Thanks Pete!
We were hoping to go a bit under the radar anyway.
You go ahead and put those pukers up there in the top ten and see what happens in week one when the Vikings pillage Lameblow!!

Peter Pricko's two names here fit him perfectly...like thread through the eye of a needle...which probably also characterizes a certain part of his anatomy as well.

Prisco ,could you give a reason why the Rams or the Panthers are ahead ?Do you really think this teams are better than the Vikes?

Viewing his comments, the reason is he only cares about QB.Anyone can be a journalist on these days

    Re: Peter Pricko's Power Rankings

Since they finished with the 17th best record, and lost no players of value (not even to mention the addition of JA, BB, or MW...How can they be ranked any lower than 17?

I like the sound of 12 personally...although that might be a bit homerish.

I don't mind being ranked low.
I would much rather fly under the radar.

What I am surprised about is the ranking of the Bears higher than us.
While both the Vikings and the Bears have legitimate QB questions, I think the supporting cast around TJack (offense and defense) is much better than that of the Bears.

Need I remind you all that the only Power Poll with any relevance at this point of the season is the Post-Draft/FA TFWPP?

    Re: Peter Pricko's Power Rankings

Every analyst seems never to question anything on the Vikes, but TJack.

You would think that being ranked 32nd in pass defense would be a issue.... but wait!
Now the Vikes have the sack leader in JA and a upgrade at safety in MW.
    So the defense is set.
No mention that Vikes were #1 in rush defense

No love for upgrading WR's with BB and dumping TW.
No mention of the #1 rushing offense.

    Nothing but TJack.
No mention of the fact that Marc Bulger, Trent Edwards, and Rex Grossman all had worse QB ratings than TJack.

Given that TJack seems to be the ONLY weakness, according to the analysts, then if TJack lights up GB and Indy with a QB rating of 100+.
Vikes will suddenly be the favorite for the SB???

Vikes most likely will have top 5 in rushing and rush defense.
    Top 10 in pass defense.
Even if they are top 20 in passing and ST... they should be considered a favorite.

I'm not a big fan of TJack as I don't think he as a high upside, but should eventually be good enough to get the Vikes far in the playoff.
But I hope I'm wrong and TJack has a MVP season, JUST to have ALL of the analysts EAT CROW.
