I think that is what happened. Not saying I thought we where but many sports analysts where saying this and that about the trade, so I would love to see what they have to say now. Or better yet halfway through the season and Culpepper is still stroking it on the sidelines.
Seems to be turning out more and more like another great move by the Viking's organization.
I don't know when people began to buy into it, but it was obvious many people did.

Re: Pep Out For The Year? Saban Not Happy!
On the local news the other day (Twin Cities) they aired an interview with Saban. In a nutshell he said he's perfectly comfortable with Culpepper being a pocket passer from this point on. Sounds a little bit like "meathead" to me (become a student of the game, etc). This has been tried before and it didn't work.
I believe Pep needs his full athletic ability to be successful. What happens when DL don't have to respect his running ability? He's a BIG GUY too, that runs and cuts, like a running back. That fact alone will add wear-and-tear to his knee. He may never be the same.

Pepp wil never be the same as he was here. He isn't going to scramble that much in fear of re-injuring the knee. Thats what made him good, is the fact that he can take off. If he becomes a "pocket passer", then he may have some problems.

If this was from the Buffalo Bills website maybe I would discredit it, but it's not.
I certainly wouldn't discredit it because of the use of the term Nicktator.Make love to the present, fuck the past
