Pats say Colts Cheated - Piped in noise!

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/nfl_experts/post/Patriots-complain-about-crowd-noise?urn=nfl,52422

The NFL is looking into allegations that the Indianapolis Colts piped in noise during the game Sunday between the Colts and the Patriots. The charge comes after Patriots President Jonathan Kraft became the latest NFL team executive to accuse the Colts of the distracting tactic that is against the rules.

"We're aware of it and we're looking into it," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Monday. "It may just be the TV feed from CBS, but we're checking it out."

Observers at the game said there seemed to be a "skip" in the sound during the game Sunday, which the Patriots won 24-20. That might confirm the long-held suspicion among many people in the NFL that the Colts play loud crowd noise to help distract opponents when the other team is on offense.

"We're aware of the accusations, but there has never been anything to substantiate it," Aiello said...

I think there was Cojo, but the best of the best, has to be when the NY Gianst open the door at either end of the field, for kick offs and field goals, to either help them or hinder their opposing team.....LOL
    And thats a known fact...LOL

I believe they were accused of having the speaker volume turned up too loud.

LEAGUE LOOKING INTO CROWD NOISE PHENOMENON AT RCA DOME

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello tells us that the league is looking into the strange audio phenomenon that occurred near the start of the fourth quarter on Sunday between the Patriots at the Colts.

GREEN'S SON SAYS VIKES USED TO PUMP IN CROWD NOISE

In a stunning admission that could make it even harder for former Vikings and Cardinals head coach Dennis Green to ever return to the NFL, Green's son said during an ESPN.com chat on Monday that the Vikings used to pump in crowd noise in the 1990s.

Jeremy Green, a former scout who has been with ESPN.com for several years, was asked, "[D]o you believe the allegations about pumping in crowd noise?
    Have you heard the "skip"?

    Green's answer?
    "I don't doubt it.
The Vikings used to do it in the 90's when they had very good foootball [sic] teams." (cont'd)

Everybodu should be able to cheat since the Patriots did, and got their hands slapped.

CBS TAKES BLAME FOR SOUND GLITCH

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that CBS has taken responsibility for the bizarre sound glitch that has prompted speculation that the Colts were caught red-handed in the act of piping phony crowd noise into the RCA Dome.

Per Schefter, the vibrating sound as the Pats were driving at the start of the fourth quarter was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck.
Schefter says that the sound could not be heard in the stadium.
