    Re: Pats cut Reche Caldwell

We should sign this guy right now! Here is why:

    1. 2006 stats
Bobby Wade 461 yards and 2 TDs
Troy Williamson 455 yards and 0 TDs
Robert Ferguson 31 yards and 1 TDs
Reche Caldwell 760 yads and 4 TDs

    2. He was on a offense that spread the ball around and still had this stats.

    3. We have too many TEs cut Jeff Dugan for Reche Caldwell.

    4. He got cut because look at the WR the patriots have. The are 100X better than ours.

    5. Who cares if he had a few drops in the playoffs so would Williamson.

    6. Chemistry? Most these guys are new. How much chemistry is their after a couple months?

    Foolish not to sign him!

IMHO, I want to make sure that we are able to get Rice on the field.
I want him fully developed by the end of the season as long as he is deserving of being on the field.
I am afraid that adding another WR might hinder that.

I am a huge Rice fan and I totally agree with you. I just do not think Robert Ferguson, Aundrae Allison, and maybe even T-Till are the near him in abilities. I do think Bobby Wade and Sidney Rice should start but what about 3 and 4 WR sets?

    Re: Pats cut Reche Caldwell

We also don't need every single WR that has been cut on our team.

Call me stupid, or whatever but we could have the same argument about 6 or 7 other WR that have been released over the past couple of days. Just because they have put up some Ok number does not mean that they belong on this team or any other for that matter.
Most of these players were cut for a reason, most of them was not a matter of Money. If the Pats are signing Moss who is at this point at the end of his career to be a starter what does that say about the rest of the WR Corps for the Patriots?

    Travis taylor?
    Marcus Robinson?

Does anybody know where they are right now? Or are they even with a team right now?
Travis Taylor was our leading WR last year, but he sure as hell not tearing it up on another team.

It is the pp.o way, if anyone is cut from any team then there has to be a discussion about signing him.

I think that we have had 6 or 7 other conversations, haven't we?

    De..Ja..Vu all over again.

    Not even released......
    Michael Clayton
    R.Williams
    Chambers
    Caldwell
    McCardell

I think people are discussing every WR that gets cut because the general feeling is that our WRs are one of our weaknesses. I think Reche is more than just numbers. I like the way that he plays.
    He is a hard worker.
I think he is 10X better than Keenan McCardell. Moss at the end of his career? I will wait to address this until the end of the season, but I highly doubt it. So what you are saying is that Stallworth, Welker, Washington, and Gaffney are not worthy WRs?

Taylor is in Oakland, saw him drop a couple of duck from Walters a few weeks ago.

M.Rob is in Det on the injured list I think plus he is also spilling our playbook.
That has to be the reason they put him on the team.
I haven't checked if he made the recent cuts or not.
