Patriots suspected of cheating in game vs Jets

NFL security confiscated a video camera and its tape from a New England Patriots employee on the team's sideline during Sunday's game against the Jets in a suspected spying incident, sources said.

The camera and its tape were placed in a sealed box and forwarded to the league office for investigation, the sources said.

Unless it is a live feed to the Offensive guys in the booth, what are the tapes going to do for them.
Rewind them, play them back??

If there is some cheating out of this, draft picks aren't an immediate consequence to be a deterrent.
You can't go to the playoffs like in the NCAA would be a better deal.

Steroid Schmeroids, cheating is cheating.

See the problem is that Bellicheck wouldn't consider that cheating.
He is so sneaky with the IR.
He thinks this is a game, not cheating.

This could be interesting if proven to be true. I was surprised that the punishment seemed limited to draft picks if proven - to me that doesn't seem a very strong deterrent to have to fall back on.

They have ALWAYS cheated...it's about time that they got caught!
Just like all those BS calls when we played them last season...time to pay the piper!

I knew caj would be happy!

The funny part is that this has apparently been happing for a while.
Long enough for the Packers to hear about it last year and step in when they saw it happening.
I am surprised that it took the NFL this long to step up.
