Patriots release Adalius Thomas

The New England Patriots on Monday released former Pro Bowl linebacker Adalius Thomas, who joined the team as a high-profile free agent in 2007, but fell into disfavor with coach Bill Belichick last season.

Eh ... don't think he is made for the Cover 2 4-3 ... so I am guessing we will show no interest.

But hell ... as long as we stay under the cap I have no problem with bringing damn near any veteran in here to compete and see if we get lucky.

Seems like Bill Belichick will have no player-friends left in the world except Brady. As everybody has been having a fallout with him.

Bingo.......

What I like about the Pats is they seem to know when to get rid of players. Seems they have a knack for getting rid of cats when they have 1, possibly 2 years left in the tank and have some value that a team will be willing to step out and give them compensation for said player.
