If the Patriots are in cap hel as Cojo has stated, how can they afford to sign Thomas? Wouldn't he come at a pretty good price? Obviously Moss is going to cost money to re-sign.

At least they're bringing some youth to that ageing LB core...........

I agree with COJO on thier cap status but it isn't like they don't have money to spend, it is more along the lines of they have more vets that need to be signed than they can afford.

In this case my guess would be that because they have a couple of LB's that might not be back this year, they could be using some of that money as well as low balling a contract with not much up front with alot of incentives that would carry to next year.

Problem is, my abilities at analyzing football stop at the CAP.
    I suck at it.
I wish that JUC85 guy (something like that) would come back.
He seemed to thrive at doing CAP stuff.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
