    Patriots Do spend the Money

    according to the remaining cap room numbers for NFL teams the patriots are like the 3rd team with the least amount of cap space so for those of you saying about the coach working with what he's got he must have a lot of they are spending that money

    That is true, other than him they dont have any really huge contracts. I think its mostly that they have above average players, not great players, so they all have decently large contracts, but nothing huge (exept Brady) like Peyton or Moss.

    Actually, that Brady extension hasnt been signed yet. They are still worlds apart on the structuring of the bonus. (24mill) Pats want to break up the bonus over several years, meaning Brady could possibly not get all of it. Brady wants it all at once.

    I hope that they give him the money...not because he deserves it (he doesn't really)...but so it screws up their cap and then they can decline so that the Vikes can take over!!!!
