Laws of the United States of America do not apply to Louisianna....just ask their politicians and law enforcement!

Well it appears he were not wearing one, and neither were his lady friend that actually got saved.

Authorities said the woman was able to make it to a pylon and hang on until she was rescued, while Hill was last seen floating away from the scene.

The woman, whose identity was not available Monday, was rescued and sent to Tulane Medical Center where she told them Hill had tried to keep her calm as the two were drifting away from each other.

Neither Hill nor the woman wore a life preserver, Atkeson said.

"It's so important to have a life jacket and a signaling device," Atkeson said. "One keeps you afloat and the other helps us find you."

Sometimes you pay the price with self enforced man laws. RIP.

Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots DL Marquise Hill accidentally drowned, according to the Associated Press. An autopsy showed no trace of drugs or alcohol in Hill's body at the time of death, but more tests are scheduled to be done in the next few weeks.

Thankfully it was not drugs or alcohol. That would of been horrible to put that spin on an already tragic situation.
