Holy smokes... Dontarius Thomas now John Lynch? I don't know about most but I'm comfortable with the likes of Tyrell J., E. Frampton, and even the rookie as good as he looked. Plus Boulware is still around, I don't think there is any reason for Lynch we already have coaches.

I've always liked Lynch. He is easily one of my all-time favorite players that are not Vikings; but, he's 37. That's quite a bit of wear and tear on a big hitting safety. I don't think he'd work out.

    Brad Childress? Is that possible?

I still can't believe he cut Nance.

I'd give you Tahi or Dugan for free. 5 FB/TE is more than enough, we probably won't bring all 5 to our in game roster anyways.

But I would rather let Tyrell go. He was known as a big hitter, and all around playmaker in college. Then he ran the best 40 time for safeties and lead safeties at pretty much everything else at the combine. He's just has so much range and is athletic to boot. It's not like he would be a drop off from Dwight Smith from last year, sure he's a rookie, but he's got the best mentor/security blanket, in Sharper, that you could ask for.

I would almost agree with you on Tahi, however, I like what Dugan brings to the table in this scheme.
Additionally, I look at how we use our FB's and TE's and I just can't see how you can't have enough of them (like our DL) on this roster.

Re: Patriots cut safety John Lynch

I was talking about this when we saw it on the weekend. First we laughed at Lynch for being so old (bronco, bucs, charger, and me in the room) and then we thought it was time for him to retire. I said maybe on the vikings because he might complament Sharper, but then the charger fan said lol no he is too old. And I was like you are right sir.
    We're bringing purple back.
