Patriots agree to five-year deal with Washington

    http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/

The Patriots sign 3 wide receivers and we sign one.
I think they have gone a little crazy.
They have 9 receivers on their roster.
I know they will cut some but it seems they bringing in a bunch of backup receivers for to much money.
I am glad we aren't doing this.

They are still seeking to sign WRs named Jefferson, Adams, Revere, Hancock, and Franklin.
    :P

When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

They are trying to BUY another championship!
I hope that the same thing happens to them that always happens to The Danny in Washington...that those big purchases don't pan out!

    LOL!

Somehow I think this thread would be more fitting for the Gen NFL forum.

They're really just addressing a glaring need.
Did you see their WRs in the playoffs?
Reche Caldwell looked worse than Troy Williamson.
Call it buying talent, but in reality theyre just addressing an area of desperate need.

    Chuch.

The Pats are trying to keep Brady happy, last year he started to publicly question management for trading or letting go all of their good receivers.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Brady is conceiving his own WR's the pats shouldn't have to make him happy.
