DAVIE - Joey Porter has played in three Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl, yet when Bill Parcells strolled onto the practice field Thursday, he felt like a rookie auditioning for his new boss....

Very nice read my friend.
When he evaluates players notice the first criteria on his list.
Quote:
Parcells said he has three criteria when evaluating players: character, critical factors for each position and positional skills.
Argue with me all you want about ignoring flaws in a players character when this staff (not just the Chiller) does or doesn't bring in someone you think is a great athlete but you can't argue with the Tuna.
;D
Additionally, for all of you out there that questioned how the Wilf Ownership approached solving our mediocrity, watch what happens in Miami over the next few years.
I anticipate the big Tuna doing much the same.
a.
Keeping the quality guys.
b.
Brining in guys he is comfortable with.
c.
Keeping a few knot heads that he can't replace right away.
d. Drafting wisely the first 2 years in an effort to replace players in items c and b in that order.
e. No real big splashes in FA until probably until after 2nd year to see where it is all washing out at.
Sound familiar.
Only thing I be he does different than our staff (not just the Chiller) is he will bring in a old VET QB that will get beat to death while Beck (or whatever QB he sets his sights on) develops on the bench ala Romo.
::)
