Testaverde back at practice, Carr out for Panthers
Wednesday, November 07, 2007
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) David Carr sat out practice with a concussion, but Vinny Testaverde was back on the field Wednesday, leaving the soon-to-be 44-year-old quarterback the latest front-runner to start for the Carolina Panthers.........
Probably have to put him in traction after every game. Shoot he's almost my age and still playing.... Makes us weezer's feel better. He probably takes two weeks to recover from a game.
As a fan of the game, this just hammers home the state of QB'ing in the NFL today.
I haven't checked the stats yet this morning, however, lots of talk about how low scoring is and how down TD passes for over 40 yards is down etc etc etc.
Again, as a fan of the game, it sure is looking tough out there.
