Looks like we are going after Strong then... Henderson would have been a good pickup, but now that he is still a packer, he better watch out..

I'd be pretty happy bringing in Strong (Let's stick it to Seattle a little more!) Have the Vikes shown any interest in him?

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

William Henderson will be back for at least one more season with the Green Bay Packers.
The 35-year-old fullback signed a two-year contract on Friday, choosing to return to the team with which he’s spent his entire career rather than move on the Minnesota Vikings.
Henderson, a third-round draft pick in 1995, has been a regular in the Packers’ lineup since his second season in the NFL. Entering his 12th season, he also plays a key role on special teams.
“I’m excited about William Henderson finishing his career as a Green Bay Packer,†coach Mike McCarthy said.
With two teams bidding on him, Henderson likely received a six-figure signing bonus. This season, he also likely will make $820,000, the NFL minimum for veterans of 10 or more seasons.
Favre update: Quarterback Brett Favre has delayed receiving his $3 million roster bonus, though the wording of the contract in a sense renders the point moot, according to his agent, Bus Cook.
Favre’s bonus originally was due on the fifth day of the league year, which has passed. Cook wouldn’t say how far into the future Favre agreed to move it, though he suggested it was only a little later this month. Favre hasn’t decided whether to return or retire.
But Cook said the date on which Favre earns the bonus isn’t critical, because even if Favre is on the roster at the time, the contract was worded so he wouldn’t receive the money until much later in the year, and only if he’s still with the team.
“He’s got to play to get that (bonus),†Cook said, “so it doesn’t really matter.â€Â
Done deals: The Packers officially announced the signing of defensive tackle Ryan Pickett, a free agent who played with the St. Louis Rams for the past five years.
They agreed to terms of a contract on Wednesday, when the Packers beat out the Rams and Buffalo Bills to sign him.
The Packers also signed linebacker Tracy White and released linebacker John Leake on Friday.
General Manager Ted Thompson brought White into the NFL when he signed him as an undrafted rookie out of Howard in 2003. Thompson was running Seattle’s personnel department at the time, and White played two seasons for the Seahawks.
Last season, the 6-foot, 236-pound White played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, mostly on special teams. He’s started twice in his 35-game NFL career.
By the numbers: Offensive lineman Kevin Barry’s new two-year contract included guaranteed money of $1.2 million, a source with access to NFL Players Association salary figures said.
Barry received a $600,000 signing bonus and a $600,000 roster bonus. His base salaries are $625,000 this year and $910,000 in 2007.
Going shopping: Quarterback Craig Nall and linebacker Paris Lenon, two of the Packers’ free agents, visited the Bills on Friday.
