    Re: Packers' talent matches Vikings'

If the Packers finish a distant third to the Vikings, or worse, dead last in the NFC North, the culprits will be ineffective coaching, substandard play by key veterans and-or a spate of injuries.

The perception of the Packers is that of a young, rebuilding team.

    That isn't the reality.
he forgot the obvous thing - that they suck and have no talent on the team at all. Looks like he could be a bitter and twisted journalist for many years to come

Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

    Re: Packers' talent matches Vikings'

    This just sad.

In Green Bay, their media get high and then write glowing articles about the worst team they have had in decades.

In Minny, the Vikes could be on the verge of a superbowl and the Star Trib would be churning out articles about how the Vikes don't need a new stadium, they don't deserve to be successful, they hate Coach Childress for not talking to the media, and they still want Randy Moss back (who, BTW, they complained about every day when he was here).

I don't know which is worse... delusional optimism or delusional pessimism.

I've been thinking about a career change.
Maybe I should look into sports writing?..

    Good points Nodak.
The "Red Star Trib" is pretty brutal on our Vikes, but then again the media in general consists of pompous, egotistical elitists who have no Earthly clue what is really going on...
