Re: Packers l Woodson agree to seven-year deal

Woodson had skillz in his first few seasons in Oakland. He was good, took too many chances for INT's, & gets burned. But yeah, he's no spring chicken

I think overall it was a bad signing but it does provide an upgrade for the pack at the CB position. At this point they had no other options, so I can see why they did it.

The best part about this move is it really confirms the belief that Green Bay has built a bad reputation with the players. They have to extremely overpay for an aging corner. Add that to the fact that it looks like Arrington turned down their offer even though it was for more money, and I predict the pack are going to be in the cellar for several years!

Re: Packers l Woodson agree to seven-year deal

I am not thrilled with the signing ... but overall I do not think it lifts them all that much ... he is better than what they have and at times can be a great corner ... but he will be eating a lot of cap room and is often selfish and lazy ... leading to big plays for the opposition.

Id rather they didnt have Woodson, but it still doesnt scare me to much, and i do believe they defidently overpaid for him.
