Bears | Simmons Has Good Workout
Terry Bannon, of the Chicago Tribune, reports the
Chicago Bears met with free agent LB Anthony Simmons (Seahawks) Wednesday, May 11, and he had a good workout for the team and could be signed. However, the Bears are still concerned about the broken wrist that ended his 2004 season.
Packers | Unlikely to Pursue Boulware
Pete Dougherty, of PackersNews.com, reports
Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson wouldn't rule out signing free agent LB Peter Boulware (Ravens), but suggested that Boulware's injury history makes it unlikely the team would pursue him. "We're doing some work on him to be sure," Thompson said. "But he's had a tough time with injuries, so you'd have to be really careful on that."

I would think that the Pack would be frantically looking for any help they could find.
