Dan Devine, a former coach and general manager, made it an easy decision by inexplicably dealing two first-round picks (plus two seconds and a third) for over-the-hill quarterback John Hadl in 1974. It will go down as the worst trade in NFL history.
??? Worse than the Walker trade?
    Hmmmmm.

What a nice read, I enjoyed it to learn about the Packers' fuck ups.

Still what are you doing reading on Packersnews.com, singer?

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I not only check for Vikings news everyday, I also check for dirt on the Bears, Packers & Lions as well, since they are in our division. Plus other headlines as well.

If I see something worthwhile, I post it.

I don't read Packernews per se, I open an interesting article & that just happens to be where it is posted.

Hey, if they want that distinction, I say let them have it.
I am tired of Minnesota being the whipping boy whenever a horrible trade is brought up... ;D

[ Don't forget] flushing away the No. 4 overall pick in 1980 on Bruce Clark, who fled to Canada and never played a down for the Packers.
If I was drafted by the Packers I might run away to Canada too. ;D

LOL! I don't recall that runaway. Did he play in the CFL?

Yeah I would rather play in the CFL or become a mountie instead of wearing that nasty green and accidentally be mistaken for a sheep.
