Cundiff is not too bad. I think he has concentration problems at times, consistency issues. Yes, it is a downgrade from Longwell.

I am not familiar with the other dude.

Cundiff, 6-1 and 218, was waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday, perfect timing for the Packers after they were stung by Adam Vinatieri's decision to sign with Indianapolis the same day.

I found this stung comment very hometown journalistic. It didn't surprise me one bit, if they thought Adam wanted to come to a rebuilding team, they are crazy.

Indy - Peyton Manning, Dome, and playoff bound
GB - Favre/Rodgers, Outdoors, and Homeward Bound(wasn't that a movie about dogs)

yes, I was talking to a Packer fan who said he wasnt really disapointed that they missed out on Adam because will a kicker really make a 4-12 team a playoff team?

What, Ben Taylor's not that bad. I thought he had like 120 tackles playing ILB for the Browns last year. I could be wrong though (and I probably am).

That's pretty sad. The Packers had the most cap space in the NFL, and they haven't done a dam thing.. If I were a packer fan (thank god I am not) I would be really pissed.. Why in the hell would Favre even consider coming back after the year he had last season, and now the team is even worse. They lost Longwell, Flanigan, Nall, Walker doesn't want to be there, Grady Jackson is gone. They have a new coach that couldn't even cut it as a OC. Great news for us Viking fans, terrible news for cheeseheads..

This is my favorie part of the article;

Coach Mike McCarthy projected Taylor as a strong-side linebacker and said he would have a chance to start. Other than middle linebacker Nick Barnett, the Packers don't have a linebacker whom they can count on

Checking out Taylor's stats, looks to me like he is a pretty solid LB and they got a good deal on him. He seems more proven than Ben Leber. Atleast he had over 100 TOT tackles...

Cundiff isn't a bad kicker either...
