    Old Tudor Electronic Football Games

A couple weeks ago we had a thread about great toys you had as a kid, and the old Tudor Electronic football games came up several times.

Well I just happened to stumble across a guy on ebay that is selling the motherload of these things.
If you are into it, I cant imagine a more complete collection of stuff comes up very often.

    Check it out.

Not something I need right now, but I thought there might be someone on here that collects these things and should know about it.

You know I noticed that, our game is the highest priced game, and the auction for the Vikings team by itself is much higher than anyother team that I noticed as well.

I guess that speaks well of us.

that was a awesome game & I always wanted to get the vikes..never did
:-[( I never figured out how to pass with that friggen felt
football..the other thing that sucked was when the "current " was turned up to make the players move..alot of times they fell over
    > I also remember the new & improved bases that the players clicked onto..the had small knobs on the bases so you control the player to move in certain directions..of course they didnt always go where you wanted them to. Overall a excellent game to kill time to when you where about 11 or 12 years old.

alot of great memories playing those games. they took forever to play since you had to put all of the players like you wanted them. and then hope you guy could run straight for 10 yards.

When I was 10, I sent picks into the local NFL pick-em contest in my town's newspaper, the Times-Republican.
I actually won a week and when they called to verify, they found out I was only 10 and underage.
Being 10, however, prevailed in the end and I won the weekly $20 prize.

I bought a vibrating football game at Sears with my winnings.

I believe the two teams were the Cowboys and Redskins - I don't really remember.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    Excellent find.
Looks like the '67 Vikings is going for at least double of any other set.

Careful, a lot of those look like complete games but they are just the players. Watch out what you are buying.

I loved that game as a kid.
    I always handpainted the players.
The yellow ones were the hardest to cover.

Is anyone on here pushing up the Vikings prices?
