I agree too.
This kid had a good showing and he seems to be all heart.
I hope somehow the Vikings can keep him around.

As of now, I think we made the right call, keeping TJ and Sage and Favre.....Boothy will land somewhere.

Yeah I don't know exactly what tipped the scales in Young's favor. Maybe I should've paid more attention to the blocking because there's a chance he's CT's replacement in a year. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there and I wish Ian nothing but success too....outside of our division lol

They wont bring him back ... Davis does not want any controversy about who starts ... he wants Russell and Russell only ... so without Garcia, there can be no controversy.

i dont know what you guys are talking about. young was clearly the better player. ian is good and hopefully will end up on our practice squad but young is better. ppl just want ian becasuse he is a fan favorite because of that one game.

Yeah ... I am with you on this one. It was Young's spot all along IMO.

I;m glad both Johnson and Raynaud made the roster. I wasn't suprised by Young beating out Johnson either. I also thought Young had the position locked up. I am content with the decision to cut Booty and McCauley. Paymah outplayed McCauley and showed some flashes. Booty sadly hasn't developed enough over the last two years. I would take Thigpen over Booty in a heartbeat and that pretty much sums it up.

I am very happy Onatulo made the squad but am surprised Erin Henderson beat Herron out. Don't get me wrong I love the Henderson brothers, but I thought Herron was arund the ball mroe often than Henderson this preseason.

I hope Colt Anderson and Broughton (FB/TE) makes the practice squad. As Mike Mayock put it, Broughton is a "thumper" and I think will benefit our run oriented offense next year. I wouldn't be suprised to see us get a QB on the practice squad. Maybe Brohm if he clears waivers.

The team made some tough decisions, but they are tough because we are a good football team.
