    Re: Official Falcons/Packers Divisional Thread

Falcons will win this game by more than a field goal by controlling the clock with Turner. If the Falcons can get up early and keep the crowd into it, the packers will have no chance to even hang around in this game. However, in that dome with those receivers and that quarterback, we are in for a track meet. Both teams can score, stretch the field. Give the packers the better defence, but the falcons win this game riding the back of Turner.
    We're bringing purple back.

This is the Falcons/Pack thread, but wth... If not for Jennings and Jones dropping a couple of balls, the score may not have been close.

Now for the Falcons game, the Pack already went in an played them to the wire. Now they think they have a running game. If they can run with Starks, look out. A two dimensional Pack team is dangerous and they match up well against the Birds.

By the same token, Atlanta has to be able to run with Turner. That will chew up the clock, keep the Pack off the field and keep Abraham rested to chase down Rodgers.
Who is this Starks guy, where did he come from. Yes with a running game they are dangerous
Yah, imagine if they had gotten Lynch for a 3rd rounder. But I think that would require a brain somewhere in the organization.

The packers will win the super bowl this year.mccarthy has become an elite coach in the league and they are as well coached in ask phases of the game as any team in the league. I don't think they can be beat.

    I kind of expected this

    Packers were on a roll

I felt Falcons would come out rusty after the bye.. I wasnt sold on their D

Rodgers has been on a fuckin roll.. He is becoming the top QB in the league

Tramon, BJ and Clay are going to kill the league for many years

Bears and Pack in NFC championship.. Many thought we would be there.. sad year!

I see Pack going against the Pats.. I really cant say who will win yet..

    Re: Official Falcons/Packers Divisional Thread

Do any of the talking heads STILL wonder why Chicago played their starters in that last game? Had they won, Green Bay would have been eliminated. I said this then, and I'll repeat it now, you do NOT want to face Green Bay in the Playoffs right now.

Without an appreciable running game, they tore Atlanta up. Want to beat Green Bay? Get to Rodgers. A LOT. If you don't, he will slice you apart.

A Bear Fan associate told me the other day that Chicago wasn't playing at 100% in that last game versus Green Bay. He said they had nothing to play for, and were going through the motions.

    I think they screwed themselves.

If Chicago beats Seattle (And they should), they will need to bring their A+ game to beat Green Bay. Seattle won't stand a chance if they somehow beat Chicago.

That said, I don't see Green Bay winning the Superbowl. I still think it will be New England.
