LMAO, the guy was playing on a gimp knee. He could barely walk after the warm-up injury. How do you possibly consider that getting owned?

1000 yards and 9 TDs is nothing to be ashamed about. Any player that can put up numbers like that in the NFL deserves as much nooky as he can handle.
When you talk talk talk, leading to the game and then get shut out you have gotten owned, I don't care if both legs were in casts. He played the first half and is playing this week so it couldn't have been that bad.

By the way the thread should be titled Chad Johnson, atleast if Chad honors his promise.

He obviously does have a lot to be proud of for his season, but for how much talking he does(he claims to be the best reciever in the NFL) I expect better.

Great article...what a stand up guy. I don't see how anybody can not like this guy. He has more fun playing this game than I think even Favre.

I couldn't disagree more though on your "owning" stance. You can't own a guy with no arms and legs in basketball just because he talked smack. Chad didn't even make an excuse though, he just gave Revis props. Chad is a great player and a huge asset to the NFL.
I wouldn't say he got owned if he didn't play at all, but he did play, and Revis shut him down. He specifically called out Revis and guaranteed he couldn't shut him down. He got owned, lucky(or unlucky) for him he gets another shot at Revis. My guess is Chad Johnson gets owned again.

Basketball? this is football, injuries are part of the game. Plus the final score was 37 - donut, everyone on the team got owned.
I would agree that the team got owned, but not Ocho. Ocho got beat but not owned...different animals IMO.

You're taking Chad way too seriously. Probably why you (and several others in the world)have a tough time stomaching him.

Props to Revis though for "owning" a crippled OchoCinco for 2 quarters of the game last week in a blow out, lol. He really showed Chad! You should watch the footage of Chad before the game...no way that is considered owning, unless a guy can take pride in beating somebody while they are down and construing that as owning, which Revis didn't do. Even Ocho would have more class than to try that route.

Do you think Revis thinks he "owned" Johnson? Hell no.

    He was faking.

He doesn't want to change his name back and Revis would have definitely shut him down.

They basically threw the game. Half the starters weren't playing. They ran essentially a preseason offense and base defense all night. I don't remember any blitzes.

My best guess is next weeks game is about 25 points closer in the end, but the jets still edge it out... and Ochocinco gets shut down... just like everyone Revis covers.

I think Revis thinks(no good argument starts like this) he owned an injured Chad Johnson, though he will likely be humble about it. 0 catches for 0 yards, I don't know how else to look at it. Chad was completely inneffective, shut down, owned. Just because Chad was injured and therefore inferrior athleticly doesn't mean he wasn't owned.

Revis is a far better football player than Chad this year. Chad tried to embarrass him and got owned. I fully expect Revis to do the same thing next week(though you won't consider it ownage because of the injury).

I think you think Revis thinks that Ocho thinks...wait...

How can we compare a CB to a WR in terms of football talent? Seems like apples to oranges. If it was Revis is a better CB than Ocho is a WR, than I would agree.

Anyways, going back to the original point. I still don't see how an injured Ocho shouldn't be allowed to have sex because Revis shut him down. I realize you were being slightly facetious but still. If Johnson was healthy than yes.

"There are 3 things that sell in America:
    Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

The guy's a joke. Revis owned him agin today. Did you see the pseudo-crying after the game? How else can he draw more attention to himself.

    Sickening
I've been a Viking fan since I was just out of diapers, hopefully we get Super Bowl win before I go back in 'em.
