NY Giants cut Super Bowl XLII hero David Tyree

Giants wide receiver David Tyree, whose last catch in a meaningful game was arguably the greatest play in Super Bowl history, has been released by the team.

Millions dream about making that one catch. WIthout that guy we would have had to endure the stupid Patriots talk of greatness even more. I give props to the guy.

    Thank you David Tyree!

Don't understand how people can say he sucks only had one good catch. I mean, he made a better catch than most any player who has ever played the game.

Alot of people on PFT are saying he was awesome on special teams and even made the pro bowl.

If you can't beat our Sinorice Moss or Steve Smith you deserve to be cut

He is a 5th option for a team possibly if someone gets hurt

Or if someone has room for a ST'er

I saw an episode of E60 where they spoke to this guy, i didnt realise he had mental health issues but to come back form that and play/win the super bowl was an unbelievable effort.

    Props to the guy.
