NodakPaul's Super Bowl Pics

OK, so here are some pics form the big game! I have some video of the halftime show (AWESOME in person) uploading to you tube right now...

The Mrs and I leaving the house for the game

At the NFL Experience before the game.
It was only open to ticket holders on Sunday, but the crowd was still HUGE, and the lines crazy long!

At the NFL Experience again.
The actual Lombardi Trophy was on display there, but they took it inside before we found where it was.
So I took a picture of the big inflatable one instead.

This guy bought his tickets before the NFC Championship game.
Oops.

There was a LOT of AD stuff on display.
I was the only person I saw wearing his jersey though.
When we were in the Topps Card building, one of the vendors gave me his 2007 record card just because I was the only one he saw too.

Heading into the Stadium.
Even before we got inside we could tell that this stadium was going to be beautiful!

Once inside we weren't disappointed!
The councoursed were huge!
And they opened directly into the seats - no hallways to go down (See the below picture too)!
There were food vendors everywhere, and enough bathrooms that the longest I ever waited in line was about five minutes.
Renee NEVER had a line for the women's bathroom.
My biggest complaint was that the beer vendors could not walk up and down the aisles (NFL rule for the Superbowl).
So if I wanted a beer I had to leave my seat, or send my loving wife.
Good thing we were right by the aisle!

Our seats were part of the expandable seat section - and they were still nicer than the Metrodome seats!

Everyone got a seat cushion to bring home.
Lots of leg room in the seats too!
My only complaint was the lack of a dirnk holder.

This is the view from our seats.
It was breathtaking!

Here is a quick shot of the roof.
It was closed because of rain in Phoenix that day. Figures...

The Mrs and I at the game...

A guy a couple of seats down from us ran the media for the Patriots.
This is his superbowl ring - from their first SB win against the Rams.
It was HUGE (and heavy!).

Mrs NP LOVED the halftime show.
What you saw on TV did not do it justice.
It was truely amazing.
I have a youtube video of it uploading as I type this...

The celebrations after the Giants won!

Me after the game

On our way out.
Did I mention that this stadium was BEAUTIFUL?

Were you sitting on the end of the stadium where they can roll the field outside?

Was he carrying a camcorder?
;D

Nice pics, by the way. I'm officially jealous.

Re: NodakPaul's Super Bowl Pics

Some more notes from the game:

- The play by play guy in the stadium was VERY good.
- Half time was simply amazing.
I watched it on TV when I got home, and I was truly sad that it didn't even come close to showing what it was like there.
Hopefully my video will be up soon.
- Every time AD was mentioned or shown on the big screen I stood up and cheered.
Every time.
And they featured him a LOT.
At first I think it annoyed some people, but but towards the end of the game I had a group of people standing up and cheering as well because they liked my dedication.
- I spent nearly $100 on beer alone, and I didn't have that many.
Drinks were $10 a piece.
Makes me appreciate the prices in the dome...
- After the Giants scored the final TD, the Pats fans left in droves.
I don't understand this.
Not only was the freaking game NOT OVER YET, but it is the damn super bowl!
You don't leave the super bowl until it is over NO MATTER WHAT.
Even if you were a Pats fan, you should have the courtesy to stay and give props to a NYG team that played a great game.

Yup.
It was behind the stage for halftime too, but we still had a great view.
