No kick in the frozen tundra.
Packers | Position battles at punter and kicker
Wed, 31 May 2006 07:14:53 -0700
Lori Nickel, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers will have a battle that will last through training camp at both punter and place kicker. Green Bay Packers PK Billy Cundiff and PK Dave Rayner will battle for the right to kick field goals. Green Bay Packers P B.J. Sander and P Jon Ryan will be in competition for the starting punter position. "These guys are going to tell us who is going to be the guy," said Green Bay special teams coordinator Mike Stock. "Somebody will emerge, and if takes through the pre-season of all the games we're going to be involved with, then so be it."
Re: No kick in the frozen tundra.
They don't need a punter if Favre throws interceptions like he did last year.
