    Nick Collins absent from Green Bay's workouts due to serious family issue

    As we’ve written about previously, Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl safety Nick Collins hasn’t been attending the team’s offseason workouts. And that has prompted speculation that his absence is solely related to his contract situation.

    One day after Collins declared that the reason that he hasn’t been present is due to unspecified family issues and not because of a contract dispute, Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel confirmed today that Collins does indeed have a “serious family issue,” citing two sources...
    That sucks.
    I hope whatever he can make it through what ever issues are plaguing his family.
