Re: Nick Bakay's Manly House of Football (Week 8)
From the looks of the bear in his avatar, BearsFanGrrr has his head lodged deeply in the bear's A$$.
Pud Pounding Bears Troll... That about sums it up. Do us a favor and go ask the nurse for some more medication because I think the last dose is wearing off.

I dunno. I actually think he's kinda funny. Pretty much all he ever says is "DA BEARS!" in all caps, and all I can think of is some fat guy sittting in his momma's basement typing away and getting pieces of chee-tos stuck in his giant mustache. The image alone makes it worth it."MensaTice" wrote:

He doesn't have any good input to add to the site and just hijacks thread after thread.
I wonder if Webby could edit his avatar and put a picture of Mike Myers in it from the old SNL sketches. Then we could all picture what he probably really looks like while reading his inane posts.
Either way, it's all going to be that much more funny when the Bears start losing.
BTW I've also really been enjoying Nick Bakay's column every week. Great stuff!

Re: Nick Bakay's Manly House of Football (Week 8)
Ignore, Winny.
You know, if you think about it, Chicago fans are starting to sweat a bit.
First of all, even they have to admit that they have a soft schedule.
Their impressive stats are due primarily to the fact that they play a lot of really BAD teams.
Second, we almost beat them the last time we met...we were soooo close.
And, we meet again (More on that in a moment).
Third, Arizona was well on the way to HUMILIATING them on MNF when the Cards managed to self-destruct (primarily due to poor play calling).
The Bears squeeked by, but the media - who had been showing them nothing but love until taht point - started waking up to what I - and many other Viking fans - have been saying for 2 years.
"LOOK AT WHO THEY'VE PLAYED!!!!!!"
Fourth, Chicago has a very tough road trip comming up.
New York for two weeks (Giants then Jets), then on to New England.
All in a row.
The poor Bears will be drained from 3 weeks on the road - two of which I predict they lose - only to return home to find US waiting for them (Another loss for Chicago).
Fifth, if that isn't bad enough, they get to face a red hot Rams team one week later!!!!
In St. Louis!!!!!
Nope, Chicago hasn't won diddly squat yet, and they know it.
Meanwhile, we've quietly gone about beating Washington in Washington, Carolina, and Seattle in Seattle (where they hadn't lost in two years!!).
So, let this window licker squack all he wants about the Bears.
The meat of their schedule is comming up, and we've already made it through ours with a 4-2 record...something NO ONE (Outside of Viking fans) predicted we'd do (Heck, even I figured 3-3...and that was before we cut Robinson).
After New England, there isn't a team on our schedule that I fear.
We could, conceivably, wind up 14-2 (Although I'd wager more heavily on the 11-5/12-4 area).
But, we COULD go 14-2.
Chicago looks likely to wind up 12-4...or worse.
So, keep sweating, Bears fans.
You're getting all the accolades NOW, but I'd rather have them at the END of the season.

Nice to see such a well thought out and written argument by our cerebally challenged bears fan - what a muppet
I guess he was allowed on the PC as part of his 'care in the community' rehab program.
The more the Bears shout then the more worried you know they are getting, especially as they're not half-way through the season yet. We'll see at season end if laughing boy is still full of himself and his sorry team.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...
