Re: NFL's first drop kick in 64 years

Doug Flutie is the best QB to never get a fair shake in the NFL. If it weren't for the STUPID Bills starting Rob "I suck the chrome off of a trailer hitch" Johnson, there never would have been any "Music City Miracle". That was one of the biggest injustices ever witnessed (by me) in pro sports. You take the team into the playoffs, you rest in week 17 as do most starters of teams with everything sealed up and then the following week you lose your job to some second class player. Sorry it just saddens me to see such a competitor have to be remembered for some stupid drop kick, that I still have trouble understanding why it was such a big deal, watch a rugby game it happens every 2 minutes!!

I watched Dougie up here in Canada and he is/was a great football player, more heart then the whole Bills team this year forsure. The only good thing about the Bills is that they lost their 4 Super Bowls in consecutive years as it took the Vikes 10 years I believe, so we are not the biggest joke of NFL trivia!!Lol

    Cheers!!

It's not rugby though it's football, and it hasn't happened in over 60 years! It is a big deal.

I'm not disagreeing with your post, but it is a big deal and something that is truly special to see.

It only counts if you get them through the uprights.

I missed...but I have a valid excuse...I was distracted by Randy mooning the Packer fans underneath the goalposts!
