Well that time is here folks. The time where I think about all the mula I could win if I could only pick the right teams. So just seeing if anyone has any concrete opionions about certain games...

    My locks are

Philly -2 at Atlanta Has Atlanta gotten better over the offseason?
I would be shocked if Philly didn't win by 3

Bengals -3.5 at Brownies I know its in the dogpound but Dilfer and that Cleveland D stinks. The new tripletts should destroy the brownies

St Louis -4.5 at S.F. I had to jump on this number because the
only way that line is moving is is UP, in
fact, I think it has moved allready!!

Ok here are some border line games that I can't seem to decide on, let me know what you think because I want to do another 10 team parlay before the lines change much.

Houston at Buffalo -5 J.P. has looked horrible so I'm sure that Mularkey will run McGahee untill the cows come home. Carr has looked equally as horrible and the Bills have, or HAD a solid D. But can they win by at least 2 field goals? I'm leaning towards taking the Bills -5 unless someone can give me an argument for Houston.

Green Bay at Detroit Detroit is -3. I want to take the Packer's here after the way the Lions have looked this preseason, but it's at home and the Packers have stunk it up as well. What do you all think?

Oakland at New England Patriots -7.5 That is a huge number. I want to take the Raider's +7.5 but is that Moss whispering huge game in my ear? Because if I think of the Raiders last year I would think New England would win by two touchdowns. I took NewEngland on one ticket, but scared to again.

Ok I took the Cardinals +2 on all of my tickets and now I am starting to think I screwed myself. What do you think of Denny's Cards marching into the medowlands to take on the G Man. I think it will be a 3 PT game.....Eli is not Peyton, right? And the Cardinals D looks improved or am I just buying into that AZ media as I know Denny's teams LACK on Defense.

Just curious to what you all think, thanks.

Whats Up, looking at your choices: Why Cardinals? I just think their are better games......Why not take the over in the N.E. game 50 1/2.....As well as the G.B. vs Det. over 46.......Love your Rams pick but also why not over 46?.... Have to go with T.O. and Mcnabb until Vick can prove he can throw the ball.....Like Buffalo a little bit.....and the Bengals well I hate rivalry games especially a road favorite 1st game of the year......

Myself thinking about: Rams over 46,Rams -4 1/2,G.B-Det. over 46,N.E. over 50 1/2, Eagles -1 1/2,Tenn +7 1/2,Bears + 6 if you can get it, and I already have the Vikings at -5 1/2 10 days ago....also looking at Dallas and KC, maybe Dallas under 40 1/2......Tonight Miami of Fla. -1 1/2,bet that 2 weeks ago.......
Just thinking maybe you can't get totals with your guy there wherever you are.........shame .......ah I love vegas.......
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks

You are right on with that Rams -4.5 plus the over and the over in the GB game. Look into the over on the Eagles game I took the over in the Rams and Eagles game. I like San Diego at -4.5 but the under in that scares me. Yes I have totals but I always do better with the points.

I am curious why you like Tenn +7 going into Pitt. I know Rothlesburger has struggled a bit of late but the D is still solid. I actually took Pit -7 on one of my 10 team parlays. And I know the skins and Bears both suck but Kyle Orton, a Rookie QB? If I touch that game, which I probably won't I would take Washington.

Vegas lady, what is your take on the Colts/ Ravens. The sportsbook I am using is giving the Ravens 3 pts, and the Ravens are home. I'm thinking I would have to take the points.

    Thanks again

Hovan, Remember I am only thinking about Tenn. + 7....... Have not made that bet; but the reason being no real good running back for Pittsburgh and I think Big Ben is a little high on himself....(Damn can't believe Miami is gettin stomped at the moment!)...Anyways in the Ravens matchup leaning towards Ravens on the moneyline + 135.....Went down to the book and already bet the Bears......Mr Gibbs has to prove it! My reasoning for Dallas: Great coaching matchup in my opinion and 2 great running backs not just one! By the way I also took under in the Memphis game big time earlier today.....What about college?!?!?!?

Not trying to sway you, but have you seen Willie Parker. That dude is fast and I'm starting him in my fantasy league. I think he will tear it up against the aging Titan D.

I hear you on the Miami game, I took the over at 38 after reading your post and it is tough watching this miserable FState Offense.

    And three missed Field Goals????

Take USC to cover every game...they were solid for me last year, expecially the Big Game.

Hovan, also remember Steve Mcnair is healthy and at the time I looked at it, it was + 7 1/2 now it is 7...Old Skool rivalry game, Jeff Fisher job on the line........Yes I remember Willie Parker.......Does not impress me at all; by the way I do have a small bet on the under in the Miami Fla. game this evening.......But really would love to see Miami cover my -1 1/2......
As fas as USC a lot of overs.....over, over, over! Also I do not believe they will cover at Oregon or at Arizona St....Depending upon the spread of course.

Miami will cover for you sooner or later in this game. I dont really follow USC even though I know a bit about them, but if Oregon plays anything like they did this week USC will cover easily.

Congrats Vegaslady, hope you won at least some of your cash back with the under. I had forgotten about McNair. I guess I have some bad blood with Eddie George and him breaking down last year.

Look forward to talking lines with you next week, thanks for sharing, and good luck this weekend!! I think we both know how wild and wacky the first game of the season can be for PRO's Remember the Patriots/Bills game on opening day two years ago?
