NFL Ugliness

I was searching for a Vikings hat at lids.com yesterday and I came across one of the ugliest hats I've ever seen.

I blew it off and moved to the next hat, but whilst watching the Chargers game last night I noticed that Schottenheimer was wearing the Chargers rendition of the same hat.

So upon further searching today, these ugly hats are made for all 32 teams

and apparently the coaching staff is required to wear them while on the sidelines. Some might not see this as a big deal but it pisses me off. There is no good reason for the NFL is reject Nolan's request to wear a suit, and then force him to put on this ugly hat instead.

If the NFL is going to control what the coaches wear on gameday, why make them look like clowns? I think the league should require coaches to wear suits, or at least fancy vests. Tie is mandatory. Either way, those hats are unacceptable.

Yah that hat isn't THAT bad, just really uncoordinated or chaotic. It is hard to make a baseball cap look bad (other than putting the GB logo on it)

Do they make one that can fit over Tice's dome and wouldn't it get in the way of the pencil that he keeps on his ear to look intelligent?

A friend and I actually saw that hat at Lids and we both thought it was ugly. They have much nicer Vikings hats than that! I like the white ones with a purple bill and the nordic man logo. Everyone has different tastes though.
