    SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE

Minnesota Vikings: They will not catch the Bears in the NFC North, but it may be worth watching the offense, with second-year quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and rookie sensation Adrian Peterson at running back.

    Not a bad read.

Agree with most of the team assesments, however, I can't believe they have the Bears staying strong.

Decent article but chicago staying strong....... I say thats a no go losing Ian Scott,Tank Johnson, possibly Lance Briggs for the first 10 games is far from staying strong in my opinion.

Nobody in the NFC vastly improved so its hard to think the Bears will drop far.

It also means the NFC will probably have a surprise team again. I hope it us.

    My list is different.
The Steelers won't make the playoffs. Other teams getting worse include: Bears,Falcons,Chargers,Saints,Packers,Giants, and Chiefs.

Teams improving include: Minn.,Detroit, Arizona, 49ers, Eagles, Pats, and Jets.

My crazy sleeper pick = Jets.

    I think I am jaded.

After suffering through the last couple of years with .500 or sub-.500 records I just can't see us doing anything but tanking.

I'd agree with you on this, but the only way the Jets make the playoffs is by wild card only, being that they compete against the Patriots in that division.

That's why it's crazy....I'm picking them to win their division.
