It was fun to see the Saints do well today, even if it was against the Browns.
Now, if they could only get rid of Tom Benson they could have a decent franchise.

Anyone have any thoughts on Manning vs Manning?
Eli is playing at home, I am going to give them the edge in this one.
Eli, from what I have seen, has done nothing but get better and better as time goes by.....
I really think the younger brother is going to take it to his older brother tonight and pull off a win.....
I know all about how a younger brother burns deep down inside to someday woop his older brother...I'm the youngest of 2 and YES my day did come... ;D
I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

I think Eli's gonna take this one too. Eli got better and better as last year went on and this is his coming out party. Wooping up on his older brother would put the icing on the cake. Plus, Peyton is going to have to get used to no Edgerrin James.."snowinapril" wrote:

Dang San Francisco is making a game of it.
They have a chance to tie with 34 seconds left in the game.

He completed over 50% and threw for 288 with one TD...
Who is Gore and where did he come from?
He looks like he might be a fantasy footballer.
He didn't quite make it to the 100 yard mark, but his stats indicate he is a work horse in that offense. He had 80 plus yards rec and rush and 2 TDs.

Charlie Casterly was on his way out and made that move.Houston is going to take a lot of heat all season long. They had absolutely no run game. Passing on Bush is looking like an epic mistake!
He had his eye on the NFL commish job.
I don't think Bush would have done well on the Texans anyway.
DD is a good runner and if he isn't moving the ball, it is the lines fault.
I will watch a game and reevaluate this comment, but that is my initial opinion.
They did play the MIGHTY Eagles

Others may disagree but I thought the biggest upset today was Denver losing to St. Louis 18-10. Denver was a hot pick for many but Plummer did not look good at all for the Broncos.
The other game that surprised me was Jacksonville beating Dallas despite some catches by TO and one TD. Also I was taken back by Atlanta beating Carolina.Kentucky Vikes Fan

I did horrible in my pick em league this week, and there were some big upsets around the league.
Even with Steve Smith out, I thought the Panthers would take care of the Falcons.
I also thought the Cheifs would be able to win at home, but that didn't happen.
And what happended to the Broncos? Jake Plummer was horrible.

The 49'ers really believe in him and that's why they traded Barlow to the New York Jets.
Frank Gore is someone to watch out for this season, because a lot of people believe he will be a breakout player. In the P.J.'s, my blend tape plays, bullets are strays
