NFL Suday ticket

Well I was channel surfing last night or should I say at 3:30 am today.(I was up with my sick daughter)
And I saw the Directv NFL Sunday ticket channel
Now I have bought this package for the last 7 maygbe 8 years.
So I clicked and it read $54.00 dollars order now.
Well I read the thing like 10 times and I just knew that was WAY wrong.
It had no multiple payments listed.
Just $54 bucks

After calling they we're like oh ya we have had a whole bunch of people calling about the $54 deal.

I said I will take it.
They we're like "great that will be 4 payments at $54 each."
BINGO!
Now I have worked in advertising and publishing for 20 years now. And that is called bait and hook.
We chatted a bit and they apologized for the "bait"
I tried to get a few bucks shaved off for the false ad.

No deal.
So I ordered anyway, because how else will watch my Vikes?
I really only see just 4 games slated for this area during the season.

So that is 12 games at $18.25 a game

But it is well worth it.
I will just cancel my wife's seizure medicine...........

My wife does not care for the cost of the Sunday Ticket and gives me a hard time. But, I get it anyways. I usually just tell her I will go in on a Saturday for overtime to cover the cost.

That is what I do too Ultra.
We don't club anymore so that saves a bundle.

And when it comes to my happiness I figure I deserve a little something.
So I buy Sunday Ticket and stalk Tiffany Amber Thiessan.

Other than those two things I am a cheap date.

My wife doesn,t put up a fuss about my direct ticket like I do about her lifetime.Man that channel spreads more dangerous propaganda than Bin Laden..

Ah yes, Lifetime supply of Pantyhose. Oxygen is pretty bad too! They supplement Oprah for God's sakes.

As far as Sunday Ticket goes, its very expensive, but that's alright, I'd pay a lot more to see the Vikes, but don't let DirecTV hear me say that.

I couldn't agree MORE. Everytime my wife watches Lifetime I know I'm in for a rough day/night. It's almost as if she projects the evil man character on to me and takes on the victim/heroine role for herself. I have spent too many nights on the couch after a day of Lifetime.

18.25 Thats too expensive per game.

Just head down to the sports bar and catch the game. At least you get to see the game, order good food and drinks and still only spend like 15 bucks. Well thats how much i usually spend, dont know about you guys. :roll:

So, spending $18.25 is too much but $15.00 is not?
I hate the Sports Bar thing. Can never hear the game, TV may be small, and the place is filled with smoke. Not to mention a lot of idiots are there. I prefer the sancity (sp) of my own home.
