Re: NFL says making officials full-time not solution

    i really dont see
how making them "full tiem" woudl amek them any better ro worse.
When the bulk of the gaems are played on sunday and onky
    1 game
2 other tiems for the most part there nto enuff games to make
it a true full tiem job.

    There are blown call or
mis calls are magnified due tot he fact that football season is 17 weeks long and mised or bad call could be the difrence of a win
    or a lsoe and
    your chance at play offs.

Well after reading the first sentence of the last post, my mind almost blew up and it has made me unable to comment on the topic

    You don't say?
Shall we count your's in the paragraph above?
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

Re: NFL says making officials full-time not solution

IMO the NFL has a point with this. Each ref only has 16 games a year plus the preseason and only a few select crews do the post season so really there are not that many working days to their season. yes, they have travel
during the week and training, but compared to MLB where the season is longer and they are doing 3-4 games a week plus double headers, it seems to be that they are more logically suited to full time refs, as are the NBA and also Hockey.

What they need to do is to either do away with replay completely or to implement it completely so that we are either able to review every play including after blown whistles or none of them.

Articnv gets a pass on spelling.

    Why? Because we say so.
