Romo could return next season
We may not have seen the last of Bill Romanowski in a Raiders uniform. Although Romanowski's season was effectively ended when the Raiders placed him on injured reserve, the San Francisco Chronicle's Jorge L. Ortiz reports that the Raiders left the door open for Romo to return next season.
Dillon rumors don't faze Bengals
Corey Dillon didn't appear to upset any of his teammates when he said that he would welcome a trade. The Cincinnati Enquirer's Mark Curnutte reports that many of the Bengals were willing to excuse the frustrated Dillon and move on.
Will Jauron take Angelo down with him?
Bears coach Dick Jauron's fight to save his job could hurt GM Jerry Angelo. The Chicago Tribune's David Haugh reports that the "deeper Jauron reaches on the Bears' roster for answers, the more it threatens to indict general manager Jerry Angelo".
