Cowboys should begin courting Stoops
Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist Randy Galloway thinks that Oklahoma's Bob Stoops should be the Cowboys' next coach. Galloway suggests that Jerry Jones sign Stoops to a contract that would see him assume control of the Cowboys in 2007.
Dumping Dillon could help Bengals
Will this be Corey Dillon's last season with the Bengals? The Cincinnati Enquirer's Mark Curnutte reports that the Bengals could save salary cap space by releasing Dillon at the end of the season.
Browns could give Couch the boot
Tim Couch may have to hold on to the starter's job if he wants to be back with the Browns next season. The Akron Beacon Journal's Patrick McManamon reports that Browns president Carmen Policy has hinted that the team won't pay Couch $7.6 million next season to be a backup.
