Nfl Playoff Scenarios And Tiebreaking Procedures

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs07/news/story?id=3159988

As It Stands Right now in week 16 this would be your wild card weekend games

    NFC
    1. Cowboys (12-2, home-field adv.)
    2. Packers (12-2, first-round bye)
    3. Seahawks (9-5)
    4. Buccaneers (9-5)
    5. Giants (9-5)
    6. Vikings (8-6)

    Wild Card Weekend
Vikings at Seahawks Last time the vikes were in seattle we won 31-13 but the seahawks are a much better team this year than last ,The same can be said about the vikes as well.

Giants at Buccaneers No doubt this will be the most boring defensive game of the wild card weekend

    AFC
    1. Patriots (14-0, home-field adv.)
    2. Colts (12-2, first-round bye)
    3. Chargers (9-5)
    4. Steelers (10-5)
    5. Jaguars (10-4)
    6. Browns (9-5)

    Wild Card Weekend
Browns at Chargers - This will no doubt be a high scoring game and will be worth watching
Jaguars at Steelers i think this will be a great game Considering jags just played the steelers last week.We will get to see how Tomlin Adjust his gameplan.

I have a feeling we are going to grab that #1 wild card spot.

We'd win the #5th if the Giants lose 1 ( last week against New England ) and we win 2
everything is fine by we, as long as we go to the playoffs!

I could see us grabbing that spot as well

    We win our last two

And Giants win this week.. But lose in in the last week at N.E

Possible....We have Denver in Denver....not an easy road game ever this time of year. However...I do see both the Giants and Redskins losing final games as well. Redskins get Dallas last...Now if the Eagles beat New Orleans Sunday Suddenly our playoff picture gets a lot less cloudy at mile high I think.

    Cheers!

If we can win this week.... I might be optimistic about making the playoffs. We are The Minnesota Vikings though, how come everyone thinks this in the bag?

We can clinch #6 this week with a win AND a Saints loss (Saints host Philly).
New Orleans must have a tie breaker over us because if they win out and we lose one they're in and we're out.
The Saints game is at noon so we should know more by our gametime.
The Saints play @ Chicago next week.
If we beat the Skins they will be eliminated.
At least this is what I understand from the current scenarios.

New Orleans has a better conference record, so we are out if we finish with even wins/loses.
