Lockout!!!
F the Players, F the Owners, F Goodell, F DeMaurice Smith (I'd like to punch him in the sternum)...the arrogance from these assholes that we stupid fans will continue to invest our time and money is insulting. You better fix this fast boys, your assumptive behavior will not be rewarded. In fact, I hope the judge gives us fans a refund, he's just old enough and grouchy enough to do something like that.
So, who are the Vikes gonna pick in the first round
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

Re: NFL owners lock out players, bound for court
For some reason I think that DeMaurice Smith is the devil, but aside from that, I really don't give a squat about this whole bickering issue. I just want football.
What I am concerned about is the following:
Vikings officials remain quiet during lockoutThen there are questions about logistics with players. Consider cornerback Cedric Griffen, who must rehab a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Can he have contact with a team trainer or surgeon?
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Smith just reminds me of the union leaders I used to see on the TV here in the 70's and 80's... all show for the cameras and no substance behind it. He's having his 5 minutes of fame in the public eye and loving every moment of it.

I guess my biggest issue with him is he seems to be grinding this axe, not for the players, but to show he is a hard ass in an effort to set himself up for his next gig.

He could probably rehab it in a strip mall somewhere in Florida

I think he's just doing his job, getting the players union as much as they can possibly get.
