I'm too busy today to start a seven page debate on whether it is the greedy, money grabbing, consumer victimizing cable companies or the NFLN who are to blame for the lack of NFLN in people's living room... ;DZeus wrote:

Re: NFL opener may clash with Republican Convention
I love the NFl network. Watch it all of the time.
I got so sick and tired of the MLB network Aka ESPN that I had pretty much given up watching it for the occasional football nugget. Now I get my info every day in big segments.
Long live the NFLN

That should enable you to grab a few minutes to tell us once again why the greedy NFL needs to have their niche network on the televisions of every cable consumer in America, whether or not they want it.

I only have 4 monitors...
Perhaps later I will talk more about the cable companies fleecing America by offering horrible "basic" packages and then charging a disproportionate amount for higher tiers, which translates into a higher average price for all consumers...

If you were to do that, I may then have to come back later and speak about how the larger issues of cable channel choices have little to do with the draconian and heavy-handed nature of Big Daddy NFL and their flailing network of targetted programming.

Re: NFL opener may clash with Republican Convention
I see no need to reschedule a game just to not conflict with a political party's party.
Screw the RNC!
On with NFL!
Gawd...isn't NFL network the best ever!
