Re: NFL Network Combine Schedule

This guy Jamon(means ham in spanish lol) Meredith has seriously sparked my interest today.

IMO he looked best in the drill that Greg was talking about(I believe he was #36, the announcers commented on how well he drove with his hips.)

Had the second best 40 time at 5.03, 31 bench reps, they're jumping later, but from the looks of it he should do pretty well.

Just looked great in the "hip flip" drill as well.

He looks way more athletic than the rest of the group, very talented kid.

Lydon Murtha looked incredibly athletic throughout the day so far at 6'7. Fastest 40 at 4.89, 27 bench reps. Too be that athletic and bang out that many reps at 6'7" is pretty remarkable.

A guy I had some interest in drafting before today, Eric Wood, Center from Louisville looked good in drills, 30 bench reps, I'm not sure what his 40 time was. He's a center, so I'm not as concerned with his measurables as I am how his technique is in drills.

The two tackles I have been looking at had very good 40 times. Britton and Beatty.

I commented on Eric Wood in the Birk topic. So far, I like that kid in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Up next are the TEs. They will be running the 40s. I want to see if we have a first rounder this year. Not for our team, but for someone else.

Risers/Sliders at NFL combine for Day 1 - K,OL, and TE

The offensive linemen and tight ends took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium to be timed in the 40 and to go through a battery of position drills. There were a number of players who stood out and improved their draft stock.

OMG...Crabtree

Crabtree is not working out and has a stress fracture, requiring surgery.
He will drop out of top 10 for sure, but down to 22?

That would be freaking awesome if he does and we got a quarterback.

LOL drop to 22!
He wont drop to out of 10!
In fact I still wouldnt be completely suprised if Detroit would take him
.
But in all seriousness, he is still going to easily be a legit top 10 pick.
Im willing to take a bet on that.

I'd say he is even a top 5 pick... scouts will look at tape of his college career and not drop him because of his injury... i'd bet on it.
