Re: NFL league officials to visit Minny to talk about new stadium

Hi Cajunvike....I have not followed the stadium issues in Minnesota very closely and not living there I don't hear or read a lot about it. Is it that they need a larger (More Seating) stadium?? I was under the impression (Looking at it on TV) that the current stadium is huge....and really not that old considering??? Are there other issues I am not aware of??

    Thanks.....Cheers!
    Where is Frostbite Falls Minnesota?

The Vikings want a new stadium so that they can make more revenue and compete with the rest of the teams.
That is ALWAYS the case...it's never about the size of the stadium.

More specifically, there are nto enough premium seats or suites in the dome to make it profitable for the Vikings.
Plus it doesn't meet current NFL standards.
Not to mention it is 25 years old, and outdated in terms of fan conveniences.

I hope this helps. Hopefully, also the stadium G-8 plan with the NFL. I don't see why not Wilf take after the guy from the Putzies and Builds his own damn stadium.

I don't see how a couple of dudes from the NFL are going to light a fire. The legislature needs to do what is best for Minny not the NFL. Maybe the NFL will pitch in a few bucks on a new stadium, that could help.
