NFL | Leaf may be hired to analyze the NFL Draft

A little low on experts it appears? Or is this just to add a humorous touch?

The New York Post reports the NFL Network, which for the first time will provide counter-coverage to ESPN's presentation of the NFL Draft April 29, is interested in having former NFL QB Ryan Leaf, the 1998 No. 2 pick, as part of its draft show, an NFL Network spokesman confirmed.

This has to be a way of making the draft much lighter to watch. Expert analysis from " Light 'em up Leaf " the #2 draft pick of the '98 Draft.
If anyone can identify busts in the early rounds then Ryan's your man

Obviously a publicity stunt to boost ratings.....

However, if they do show lowlights of Leaf's career like shouting at reporters, blaming everyone else, throwing ints and fumbling count me in!

Let's hope they don't have him throw it (the coverage) to another on-site reporter because it may get picked off.

Really what kind of insight does he have to offer?
