Re: NFL flex-schedule makes first change
Here's that week's schedule:
WEEK 10
Sunday, Nov. 12
GAME TIME SIRIUS Radio
AWAY HOME
Baltimore at Tennessee 1:00 p.m. 107
Buffalo at Indianapolis 1:00 p.m. 125 123
Cleveland at Atlanta 1:00 p.m. 118 118
Green Bay at Minnesota 1:00 p.m. 122 181
Houston at Jacksonville 1:00 p.m. 158 158
Kansas City at Miami 1:00 p.m. 110 143
N.Y. Jets at New England 1:00 p.m. 146 146
San Diego at Cincinnati 1:00 p.m. 130 119
San Francisco at Detroit 1:00 p.m. 117 117
Washington at Philadelphia 1:00 p.m. 144 144
Denver at Oakland 4:05 p.m. 125 143
Dallas at Arizona 4:15 p.m. 110 123
New Orleans at Pittsburgh 4:15 p.m. 153 153
St. Louis at Seattle 4:15 p.m. 147 130
Chicago at N.Y. Giants 8:15 p.m. 147 152
CBS and FOX each get to protect one game a weekend (or have a certain number of "protects" - no time to look it up now, ready to go home).
I'd guess that these are the "protects" for Week 10:
CBS:
San Diego @ Cincinnati
FOX:
Washington @ Philadelphia
Now, if I *REALLY* had to guess, I'd say that CBS did protect that game and that FOX passed on protecting anything for later in the year.
I'll look into that tomorrow.

=Z=CBS and FOX will each be able to protect a total of five games in the seven weeks of flexible scheduling, but not more than one game in any week.
